I'm so glad you're here.

My name is Cailen. I am a Certified (Clinical) Social Worker and Therapist. I just recently graduated with my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kentucky and am currently working under supervision to obtain my complete licensure. I also graduated Summa Cum Laude from Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in criminal justice. I have been practicing in mental health since 2022 and have previous experience working with children, emphasizing psychoeducation and school-related concerns. Being passionate about working with children, I am also devoted to my work with adults, emphasizing ADHD among an array of other potential concerns. Every person deserves a chance to be heard, valued, and encouraged, and my hope is to create a safe space for you to begin your own journey of self-exploration and growth.

A Little More About Me

I was born and raised here in Paducah, KY. I have a dog named Willie who is both my best friend and my own "therapist" rolled into one ball of fluff! I enjoy being outside, spending time with family and friends, and working with my clients. I believe in the power of love in healing and happiness so, to explain, click the button below!

"A mind that is full of conclusions is a dead mind. A living mind is a free mind, learning, never concluding."

~ Jiddu Krishnamurti

(one of my favorite quotes)

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of services do you offer?

As an individual, I only offer psychotherapy services to children, teens, and adults. However, I will be learning and continuing to work and practice new therapeutic approaches and services under the supervision of Dr. Lauren Barks and Dr. Bree Shelby, so my service provisions will continue to expand.

If you'd like to learn more about the services our organization provides altogether, you can visit our website and look under the "Services" tab for more detailed information. Services — Integrative Psychological Services (integrativepsychky.com)

What can I expect during our first session?

The first session is a time for us to meet and get a feel for the space and dynamic of therapy. I may ask you specific questions related to your history, background, concerns, and hopes for the therapeutic process. You are also more than welcome to ask me any questions you have about the process and/or discuss any concerns and goals that you might have for your therapeutic journey. :)

Why Us?

I can tell you that my decision to seek out my clinical supervision and desire to be part of the Integrative Psychological Services team was the best I could have made for myself! Being here has allowed me the opportunity to become a part of something focused on nurturing and growth, something that embodies the essence of quality mental health care,  individualized treatment provision, and healing altogether.

"It’s essential to us that our clients get personalized care. Rather than do things the typical way, we’ve designed our approach around meeting each client’s needs. Sometimes this looks like traditional psychotherapy, and other times it looks like a mosaic of therapeutic methods. We’re here to help clients find which path to healing works best for them."
